NADRA launches SMS service for card verification of Pakistan


National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched SMS mobile service in collaboration with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and all telecommunications companies to determine the existence of a person on the list of beneficiaries for the card project in Pakistan to facilitate the rain-affected people of the state control of their applications.Vice Chairman NADRA, Tariq Malik, said in a statement issued by NADRA.He said the 62 a total of 47 centers of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) are in operation in six districts, namely Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan, Shaheed Benazirabad Mirpurkhas, Sanghar Tando Allahyar and while others 15 centers to complete their task now addressing complaints from genuine beneficiaries who were unable to get registration cards for Pakistan.He noted that throughout the process, said NADRA strong in the software checks to ensure that only deserving families belonging to the provincial areas reported affected calamity could get cards in Pakistan.NADRA Tariq Malik reported that so far has issued 592,651 cards of Pakistan in its entirety to the heads of families affected by rain in Maharashtra. 105,455 cards in Mirpurkhas Pakistan, 240,227 in Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan 79,946 and 156,324 in Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), 8011 and 2684 in Tando Allahyar in Sanghar have been issued to heads of families.
How to Verify Pakistan Card:
Simply send CNIC number to 9777. In response, a text message will be sent from NADRA confirming CNIC existence in the beneficiary list.NADRA, in addition to setting up centers, has also mobilized its mobile resources MRVs (Mobile Registration Vans) to process CNIC free of cost in all affected areas in coordination with the public representatives and district administrators, he added.He said that NADRA has also issued 77,833 free of cost CNICs so far among the flood/ rain-hit victims.
