PML-N all set for Faisalabad rally today




FAISALABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to hold a massive rally in Faisalabad’s Dhobi Ghaat Ground on Sunday, amidst tight security arrangements and a commercial lockdown in the city.
The whole of Faisalabad city has been adorned with PML-N flags and banners calling everyone to participate in the rally.
Markets in Faisalabad which are commonly open on Sundays have been closed by traders in support of PML-N to ensure participation of the masses.
Private and commercial transport has been dedicated or hired to transport the participants to Dhobi Ghaat Ground.
Various PML-N wings have been mobilised to bring ensure availability of transport for the participants.
Many parliamentarians have also arrived in the textile district of the country to attend the rally.
Participants are expected to gather at Faisalabad’s famous Ghanta Ghar and other squares to join the procession headed to the main venue.
Strict security arrangements have been made at the venue of the rally, 5,000 policemen have been deployed to man the walkthrough security gates.
Earlier, party sources told The Express Tribune that Nawaz Sharif will resume his movement against the government through an important announcement in Faisalabad today (Sunday).
